Global Credit Union opens new kiosk-branch in Eielson Exchange Shopping Center

Anchorage, Alaska – Global Credit Union is excited to announce the grand opening of its newest branch, located inside the Eielson Exchange Shopping Center on Eielson Air Force Base.

The 300 square-foot Global kiosk is the first of its kind, offering the full range of Global Credit Union services and convenient access to the servicemen and women who call Eielson Air Force Base home.

“Global has a long history of providing credit union services to members of our military,” said Geoff Lundfelt, president and CEO of Global Credit Union. “In fact, the credit union was founded at the Alaska Air Depot in 1948. We could not be more excited to continue the tradition of serving those who serve this country.”

A grand opening ceremony took place on Jan. 25 at the Eielson Air Force Base Exchange. Global members and members of the public were in attendance.
